Description

Overview: With direction and guidance from the Manager, Information Systems and in conjunction with end users, the Programmer Analyst will participate in most phases of the development and problem solving methodologies. Specific Accountabilities: • Interpret and define user requirements • Perform analysis, design , programming, testing and implementation activities • Perform problem solving activities • Prepare and maintain system documentation • On call Duties as described in the on call procedures Education & Training: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent College diploma Experience: • A minimum of 7 years programming experience related directly to the hardware and software requirements of the projects assigned. Other Skills: • Good communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to function in a team environment • PC literate and proficiency in MS OFFICE software
